Overview

Royal Canadian Board of Cosmetic Medicine provides a focused, in-person weekend workshop designed to teach the cosmetic use of Botulinum Toxin type A across the most commonly treated facial areas. Participants receive an overview of the product’s background, current innovations, and a short comparison with Botulinum Toxin type B. The training emphasizes essential facial anatomy and physiology to support safe and predictable results. Topics include how the product works, proper dilution, injection placement, complication prevention, and appropriate responses if issues occur. The hands-on portion covers assessing treatment areas, marking injection points, and performing injections under guidance.
